Is it time for Saints to take the bull by the horns and offer a financial settlement?
As a club Chelsea are worth £2.5bn and they were fined £10m by the FA for eight years worth of financial cheating
If Saints are worth a approximately £150m then we should offer £600,000 and we'd be quits
This is tongue in cheek by the way

I do get very frustrated watching Tom Fellows, he's a bit of a one trick pony.
Yes he's good at step overs but does it far to often, I'd like to see him skin defenders with a change of speed or direction.
I'll give him credit because when he does get past his marker he does he does deliver decent balls into the box.
But he needs to mix it up a bit because he's too easy to defend against.
Also when he receives the ball in his own half or on the halfway line he's quite often got lots of space in front of him to run into but he doesn't do it, he doesn't even look to see what space he's got he just plays a simple ball back to our defence that has just given him the ball.
He is also a liability when on the ball near his own goal, he too often tries to be too clever & get caught on the ball.
There's a good player in there but he is very frustrating. |

1. Can’t comment on pubs as I drank in Chelmsford.
2. Feel sorry for Colchester fans with their ground being where it is. Hardly anything around there in terms of life.
3. Ate a pie at the ground which was hotter than the sun and burnt my lip. Should have complained really, but what’s the bloody point with the kids they employ?
4. Massive screen outside the ground which was showing West Ham v Skates before the game.
5. Result for me was that the cabbie who took us to the ground from the train station pre-match actually turned up to collect us after the game, as I had requested. Stunned that he turned up. |

Opening minute against Northampton (at home), playing out from the back, side to side in their own box and pass to striker who should be shot for missing a virtual open goal

Has anyone had any experience of using the bus from the train station to the ground?? No problem before the game but wondering how long it takes after the game!!
Was hoping to catch the 20:33 train back to Southampton (hope no extra time) I know I could walk it in about 40mins but want to be lazy! |

I’ve just watched a recording of the Fans Forum.
In my opinion the whole experience ruined by Blackmore’s constant supplementary questions to the management team supposedly on behalf of the fans that attended.
Every season it’s the same. All he ever does is run the clock down asking mainly patsy questions at the expense of the fans that have made the effort to go to St Mary’s.
To me he gives the impression that he believes he is part of the Saints management team rather than just a journalist employed by the B B C and a match day commentator for Radio Solent.

1. We can't really discuss individual targets in an open fans forum as it would alert other clubs to who we are trying to sign.
2. The fanzone actually does have discounted beer before games and it is possible to pay under a fiver a pint for a premium lager whilst the same pint is being sold in Carlton Place for near on £7
3. We monitor League One top goalscorers as a matter of course, a lad called David McGoldrick got 15 last season for Barnsley and 22 two years before that could be worth a punt |
