'Significant' COVID outbreak revealed by Aston Villa
The West Midlands football club has just announced it has closed its Bodymoor Heath training ground after a "significant coronavirus outbreak".
A large number of first team players and staff returned positive tests after being routinely tested on Monday and immediately went into isolation, according to a spokesperson.
A second round of testing was then carried out and produced more positive results today.
Aston Villa are due to play Liverpool at home in the FA Cup tomorrow at 7:45pm.

reminds me of the time in 1982 when me & a few mates were in a RIB boat off South Georgia Island when all of a sudden, our boat filled with half-a-dozen penguins that were escaping a whole pod of orcas. They sat in our boat for 20-odd minutes until the coast was clear. Funniest little fellas I've ever seen & because they'd never seen humans before - they didn't mind us one little bit. Must dig out the photos one day. Anyway, enjoy...
Sword Beach - assaulted by British 3rd Division, with French and British commandos attached. Remembered with honour on this day, 76-years on. I shall, as always, have a tipple for them tonight.
died yesterday aged 72. Those of us old enough to remember the Glam Rock days of the 70's will mourn his death. Another loss from my childhood days. Thanks for the music and the memories Steve.
