Not withstanding that the first 2 goals would have been ruled out if VAR. had been present the overall performance was worth the points The young lad getting sent off spoilt it as a spectacle because they played a line of five and a line of four and no space in between It's normal for teams who get a red card It's damage limitation |

Wednesday was all about the result today we needed and got a performance Not 100% perfect but a lot better Wednesday didn't offer much resistance and their keeper had a howler But we can only play what's in front of us
For me Goosy Goosy Jandet was MotM His goal should add to his improving confidence Glad to see Azaz and Arma get on the score sheet as well

The Scienza goal alone was worth the entry money. We had to battle for the last 3o minutes so it wasn't pretty It's also good to know that at least one team is worse at finishing than us |

We played well all over the pitch except in front of goal The performance was so much better than the result and I believe we have seen a team today Not just a bunch of players.
Alex never had a real shot to save.I don't much like a back five but Wellington and Jelert looked like real wing backs Unfortunately Jelert could now be out for a few week The three centre backs complimented each other but THB is still not playing forward quickly enough Wood looks like the organiser we have needed
Charles and Jander continue to be a reliable pairing but Scienza just stole the show He performed better than Fernandez and looks the real deal
If only our forward line had a better conversion rate.If we start converting just the clear chances somebody is going to get a thumping |

At last a win Let's hope they are like buses and another one comes along on Saturday
We are now seeing some quality performances all over the pitch but still with a few adjustments needed
The work rate of Stewart combined with his goals shows why we bought him With Arma it could well be worth 40 goals for the season
Defensively there is still a sign that they lack experience but by Christmas that should be gone
We now have one more point than we had after 8 games 2 years ago If we end the season with one more point than 2 years ago it could well be an auto spot |

We were definitely the better team today and other than that age old problem of not putting chances away looked much nearer to the team we want to be
Every player was worth his place and he should persevere with tha starting eleven
Ross Stewart put himself about and looked just about drained when he came off but has earned another start
Of the subs Robinson looked lively and should be the natural replacement/sub for Fellows
Fellows however should be one of the first names on the team sheet
Special note to the referee:- Players other than goalkeepers are NOT allowed to control the ball with any part of their hand or arm We had a clear penalty shout in the second half and a good half a shout in the first half |

This game will give Will a selection headache for sure I'm hoping it spells the end of Stevens as a first choice player All 3 of last nights centre backs are better than him
Jelert looks a better bet than Mads and if fit Jander should start alongside Charles Unfortunately Flynn still wants to play the short pass game
How do you choose between Scienza,Azaz or Robinson All 3 deserve to start
The major disappointment was D Downes He doesn't look remotely likely to become a 10 goal a season player
Tell McCarthy just to put the ball into Row R. Other than that gaff I thought he ha a reasonable game
At least we saw signes that we have a team and hopefully we will soon start winningk |

Not impressed by any Saints player As individuals and collectively the barely reached average We allowed them to control the m/f in the first half and it was just as well they are no better than us at creating chances
We were better in the second half but still short of creativity Even if we had Mo Salah we would still need a player capable of finding that killer pass
A lot for the coaches to sort out for sure None of the newbies impressed and they need to know the best 11 very quickly |

Quarshie is not accustomed to the pace,THB missed pre season and is not yet fully match fit and Capt. Jack is what he is
Fraser at W/b did a reasonable job and the cross for JR'S goal was spot on If you watch the highlights look at the clever placing of the pass from Fernandez to Fraser
Before we can got to a back 4 we need one or two good quick wingers and another creative m/f player

Of the 4 players who can play as a No 9 none appear to be firing on all cylinders yet but is that because of the service. Having failed, on Saurday,to convert the chance that captain Jack eventually put in DD again couldn't unravel his feet to score from 2 yards.
But it's a win and we are in the hat for round 2 Reading at home please |

In the main everyone did their job and apart from the pen and header that went over they didn't pose much of a threat
One of the big fellas should play up the middle and AA wide right eg Jay Ross AA and the bench could have more than adequate replacements for all 3
Good to see we have a 100 minutes plus team How many did we concede late last year?

We have been subjected to worse this season for sure They should shut of the stadium clock because when they see half or full time approaching they relax and lose concentration
Good to see Robinson and Sanda get game time Both are impressive and will provide useful options in the championship Sanda maybe a future captain in the making
Keep Ross fit and give him a full pre season him and AA could easily get 40 plus goals between them
We know some good players will leave but hopefully a lot of our not so good or frustrating players will also go
Let WS bring in some of his own and next year MUST be better |

At times we tried to keep possession by playing our pretty boy football again.With no effective striker on the pitch it was always going to be a tough ask.

Ferndez MotM again. He has the ability needed to play in a top 6 side Rambo hasn't so to be first choice he will probably have to go to a newly promoted side,and risk another relegation,or settle for the likes of Wolves or WHU |
