According to Amazon Music, my top five: 1) W. H. Lung 2) James 3) Bodega 4) Home Front 5) The Holy The new Home Front album is top drawer. Won't get to see The Holy as split up now and even if they did a show would likely be in their home country - Finland. |

A free pint of the finest 'Spitfire' lager........... Still, unlike Vicarage Road i suppose it just about qualifies as alcohol |

1 - Drove up and tubed it across to London Bridge / overland to Charlton 2 - Only had one beer on the way in before travelling across London 3 - Personally love the away end with its portalloo style bogs and uncovered concourse. Proper old school and non sterile. 4 - The general view is fine but not being able to see all of the goal is a big naff. 5 - Surprised so many stayed as long as they did. 6 - Drive home was slow and idiots doing the usual hog the middle lane 7 - A good day out |

Exactly why did Dragan waste his time buying Saints then one wonders..... Suspect £60m in the sky rocket and not a whimper from the Saints fans about our demise still ain't a bad little return, billonaire or not....... [Post edited 16 Nov 17:02]

He was probably referring to a young generation who live in Hampshire or Dorset and as yet, have no affiliation to a club through parents. When I was at school in the 80's I could name a couple of lads who went yo Dean Court regularly. Most were Saints fans by virtue of being in Divvie One. Naturally excluding those that were Scouse dud to winning everything. |

Exactly this. I was there ten minutes early (13:50hrs) expecting to see even a small gathering - fcuk all was happening apart from a few tourist types having pics with Ted Bates. Wished I had of stayed in the pub. Our fanbase are more interested in 'influencing' on Social Media (of what they influence is far beyond me) or frequenting The Dell bar and gulags. Funnily enough they were pumping. Even after the result I was hoping for something big / the catalyst, but nothing worthy of note. If only we had the American system whereby you own a franchise and can move it there you want. I would shift the club up North where the population are out on the streets when their club us outside the Top 4 |

Several reasons of which include...... 1) They command 'decent' money 2) They don't fancy managing an outfit with crâp owners / bosses 3) There might not be any 'decent' managers available 4) Budget constraints or direction the owners stipulate 5) Joining a basket case outfit |

Pretty much sums things up lets be honest, this is nothing new as it's been well documented on this mong board. The biggest concern or worry for me (and have said this before) is - do we have any form of Strategic Plan? If not, why not, and if so, then where is it? As fans we have all concluded that we are going to buy young players cheap and then simply turn them over for profit 'IF' they improve. From a Southampton FC perspective this is unsustainable IMHO, yet from a Multi Club stance it may work out well for our 'Brothers' who sadly are not 'Brothers In Arms'. I would like to see laws introduced on multiple club ownership. Sport Republic Out |
