My. Nursery had wallpaper with racing cars on. I would always point to the red one so my first words were "Alfa Romeo". Dad built an F4 car in a garage somewhere in Shirley or Bitterne (having previously blown the doors off thee home garage while making the mould. I learned at his knee so early sixties to late Seventies in answer to your question but it has never been anything less than a passion. |

I have been attending Grands Prix since Fangio was World Champion and this ain't motor racing. If I had to choose between Football and motor racing, the latter would always win. |

Flavio Briatore who fixed a race by telling his driver to crash is currently a team principal. Ecclestone was a crook and plenty more besides. Yup, it's bent. |

Broadly agree but the data analysts are no substitute for a team of well drilled players and a man who, somehow, knows almost instinctively how to get the best out of them. It is beyond all understanding the difference between now and three weeks ago. I don'tknow how he does it but my Saintsfollowing experience is much better than it has been for a very long time so from a fan's perspective, get him signed up! |

It is too long since I could say "Roll on Millwall" but I am looking forward to games now. I hope SR haven't got a cunning plan to sell Tonda! |

We have a positive goal difference at last. We are scoring more than we are letting in. |

Three points that many thought we wouldn't get players putting in confident performances and a thumping big win for the gd. He has three games to prove himself. So far, so good. |

That won't help him. If God knew anything about football He wouldn't have allowed SR to exist. Besides, the Father,Son and Holy Ghost all support the Saints. Home team, so to speak [Post edited 14 Nov 19:42]

Yes. Good luck to whoever manages the side at every game. Last week, he was in the right place at the right time and presided over back to back wins. Lucky chap. Let's hope his luck holds. His U21 record is not to be discounted and he has already blooded a youngster which is something that a lot of us would like to see more of. As I said, good luck to him [Post edited 14 Nov 14:39]

Writing off the list successful manager we have had all season is some crystal ball gazing. There is no reason to be frightened of Charlton if the players are in the right frame of mind |

Which suggests that 9/11ths of our team is all right, which is something. Use the money saved on Tonda on buying Rambo back and that is 10/11ths. A clean sheet guarantees a point so a good keeper is worth more than even a good striker. [Post edited 14 Nov 14:14]

The other side of the coin is that he can get wins out of this side so give him a chance. Let's at least see what he can do. |

True, but if he gets six points out of that lot he would be worth persevering with. If he turns out lucky he could make a name for himself |
