Hill to offer Watt a deal?
Hill to offer Watt a deal?

Dale boss Keith Hill has confirmed that he is talks with the agent of Jerome Watt to offer him a deal, after the former England U-19 star has impressed throughout his trial with Dale over the past couple of weeks.

The former Blackburn right winger made his first appearance as a second half
substitute at Rossendale in Dale's first pre-season friendly of the Summer, and
certainly caught the eye of the attending Dale supporters with his display of
pace and trickery down the right. That was followed up with a run out on the
left against Southport, and another go on the right wing in the 3-0 hammering of
Huddersfield at the weekend.

However, its not just been the Dale supporters who have been impressed. Keith
Hill looks to have been impressed also and is looking at offering him a deal to
make his stay at Spotland a permament one. Speaking in the Observer, Hilly said:
"Jerome has shown very good quality and attributes playing on both the left and
right for us in pre-season. He's done well and we are in communication with his
agent to see if we can come to an agreement."

Watt is due to play in tonight's game at Drolysden.
