Tadanari Lee Out For The Season ?
Tadanari Lee Out For The Season ?
Tuesday, 3rd Apr 2012 09:11

Reporting on the BBC's Late kick Off programme last night, presenter Tony Husband's stated that Tadanari lee would be out for the season.

Husband's who has for many years worked from the BBC's headquarters in Southampton and covered Saints and other teams in the area obviously has very close connections and certainly BBC Radio Solent appear to be the local media outlet of choice for Saints at the moment, for these reasons this cannot just be dismissed as rumour.

Other media outlets including the Club's own official site havent reported this, which suggests that this was either an exclusive for the BBC or they have got it wrong, given the background of Husband's explained in the paragraph I would say its more likely to be the former.

The problem at the moment with news like this, including the Rickie Lambert rumours doing the rounds at the moment, is that with the Club seemingly persuing a policy of silence with regard to injuries in order to give nothing away to the opposition, when it becomes clear he is missing more than the odd game, rumours easily start as supporters start to disbelieve the Club when they make any announcement regarding injuries.

the club say they hate rumours, and that they are only designed to distabalise the club.
Yet they openly encourage rumours by giving out disinformation (Adkins emphatic statement saying Lambert will be fit for B'POOL)
Silence I could understand, but disinformation is insulting to clubs own fans, and in it's self is distablising the fanbase.

As RednWight says, they also said that on South Today because he's had foot surgery. its on the BBC Sport website now too. Not good news at all.

I agree with Patred. It's very disappointing to travel all the way to a game thinking everything's fine when it's clear it's not. It'd have been easier to accept if no update was known, but to say "he'd be fine don't worry about that" (that was the quote from memory) was potentially just a lie.
