An arrest took place after the Swans 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium this evening

Rumours suggest that a member of Swans staff was involved in a scuffle with a member of Rovers playing staff which resulted in one arrest although Bristol Rovers say the arrest was not Coles himself.

A statement made via the official Bristol Rovers web site said "There was an incident in the tunnel involving players and staff from both sides, and that incident is being investigated at the moment by the police.

"One man has been arrested and taken to a local police station, but until the incident has been fully investigated and we get copies of the police report I can't go into any more detail at this stage.

"The referee did not see the situation, but he has been made fully aware of what went on.

"It was quite heated, but I must restrict my comments to that at the present time."

When asked specifically by a media representative about Danny Coles' possible involvement, Dave added: "He was one of the individuals involved in the incident but he has not been arrested."
