Brendan Rodgers hailed his side's win at Fulham as phenomenal after they dismantled their hosts 3-0 at the Cottage

"It was a phenomenal performance," said the Swans boss. "I felt this was our biggest game of the season because we came into it on the back of a massive high from last weekend's win.

"I said to the players that I didn't want us to be a team that only raises their game for the big teams and the big matches.

"But our possession game was fantastic and our ability to control the game, against a Fulham side that have got an incredible record at home, was at a very high level.

"To score three is very pleasing, and we could have had a couple more.

"Fulham are very confident at home, but we are side that doesn't play with any fear," said Brendan. "Our home form has been terrific but since the turn of the year we have picked up many points on the road.

"I felt we could come here and get a result, but to play the way we did and control the game how we did, was very pleasing.

"He was terrific again," added Brendan when asked about two goal hero Gylfi Sigurdsson. "I looked at the squad after the first half of the seas" on and I felt we needed a goalscoring midfielder and he has slotted in perfectly.

"He's a wonderful talent and I always knew his ability, but he has come into a wonderful group of players who work hard every day and aim to be the best they can be.

"But Gylfi is a big talent, our style of play suits him perfectly and he has adapted well.

"Our supporters are incredible," said Brendan. "They travel up and down the country in great numbers and they are always so loud and positive.

"They back the players all the time and they understand the way we play and what we are trying to achieve here.

"Our aim, as always, is to be the best we can. But we won't set ourselves a points target; the aim coming into this league was to defend the way we play and see where it takes us.

"The players are driven to be the best they can be, we don't have any big time Charlie's at the club and it is a pleasure to be able to work with such a humble group of players."
