Saints Get Long Haul Away Tie In Capital One Cup Wednesday, 25th Sep 2013 22:03 Saints fans couldn't have a longer trip if they want to watch their club in the 4th round of the Capital One Cup. Saints have been drawn away to Sunderland in the next round of the Carling Cup in a game that will see the winner through to the quarter finals of the competition. Although this is a nightmare draw for travelling Saints fans in that only a trip to Newcastle could have been further away and that only by a few miles, however as away ties go this is far from the worst one Saints could have got, although of course Sunderland are a Premier league club it does give Saints a fair chance of going through, however if they are to do so then Mauricio Pochettino will need to put out a stronger side than he has done in the first two rounds we have played in. The competition is opening out, we have a great chance of reaching Wembley and winning something, time to put glory before cash.
