Cody Cropper has had no problem sorting himself out with another club after his release from Southampton Football Club.

The 22 year old American keeper who joined Saints from Ipswich Town and failed to make an appearance during his St Mary's sojourn has signed a one year deal for newly promoted Championship club MK Dons.

However Cropper will find it difficult to oust current number 1 at MK, David Martin has been a virtual ever present since joining the Dons in the summer of 2010, however he is out of contract and although close to signing a new deal has not put pen to paper. If he does so then Cropper will be set to continue his career which has seen him yet to make a first team appearance for either Saints or Ipswich.

During his time with Saints he got nowhere near the first team and found himself 4th choice behind Fraser Forster, Kelvin Davis and Paulo Gazzaniga. will be 23 in January and needs to be making appearances in the very near future or face an uncertain path ahead where he will struggle to make the big step forward despite being a regular for the USA U23 side.
