Refwatch: Dale v Coventry
Tuesday, 20th Oct 2015 05:33 by TVOS

Mark Haywood will make the trip from Wakefield to take charge of Dale’s home game with Coventry on Tuesday.

This will be his second Dale match in two months as he was the man in the middle for our Capital One Cup tie at Hull in August.

Mr Haywood has been a regular fixture at our matches since joining the league list in 2006 and Tuesday will be his 19th Rochdale appointment in that time.

The last time he refereed at Spotland was early last season when Dale and Bristol City shared a 1-1 draw.

Mark’s full list of Dale games is:

Oct 06 Wrexham (a, JPT), D 1-1 (won on pens)

Apr 07 Barnet (h), L 0-2

Jul 07 Oldham (h, Rose Bowl), W 2-1

Aug 07 Stoke (h, CC), D 2-2 (won on pens)

Dec 07 Wrexham (h), D 0-0

Oct 08 Chester (h), W 6-1

Before the weekend, Mark had showed 31 yellow cards and two red this season, but on Saturday he sent-off three players in a fiery contest between Mansfield and Bristol Rovers at Field Mill.
