This game is about more than the three points that both sides want to consolidate their season before the remaining 2017 fixtures. I always thought that (historically-speaking) Saints and Leicester were good opposition. Leicester rarely got points when visiting us, and Saints' trips to King Power / Filbert Street often ended very disappointingly. It's as much about the comparison between the two managers, who have almost no personal history, but more a case of whether " those disenchanted fans" got it right, or did the Boardroom get it wrong...in dismissing Puel and /or replacing him with Pellegrino. The fixture is important to both sides. A Saints victory will show that, against a vastly -improved Leicester side...MP is finally getting it right.....or (in defeat) ...if it's just a case of ... " work still in progress." . Should be an interesting game. | |
