Train Chaos For FA CupTrip To Fulham
Monday, 1st Jan 2018 22:05

Saints fans planning on travelling by train to Fulham might wish to reconsider, with the main line from Southampton shut again up to Eastleigh, meaning a minimum 2 hour trip.

Saints fans taking the train up to London for the FA Cup tie with Fulham could face chaos, made even worse by the fact that there will be over 4,000 Saints fans up at Craven Cottage and many would normally go by train.

But maintenance works mean that it is a replacement bus service between Southampton Central and Eastleigh, that means an hourly service that will take a little over 2 hours.

With the line towards Portsmouth also closed, that means taking a Southern Railway train is not really a viable option.

That means that many Saints fans might be considering other options and one might be the coach's run by independent provider Southampton Away Travel, they are putting on an extra coach for the trip at a cost of only £20.75 including food.

The full details including how to book are below including a link to Southampton Awy Travel's website.
