Hopefully we will see at least one point from this game, even though it seems like a real challenge. The good news is that Giroud is apparantly out injured (his goal tally against Saints is quite embarrassing for us) but it reamains to be seen who will be given the unenviable task of chasing Eden Hazard for 90 minutes. Expect to see most of the regulars back in the start line-up, albeit without PEH who blotted his copybook with a red card for that stupid, late foul - in a game we had already lost.

We will finally get a chance to see if JWP can recapture the form that made him captain of England's U23's. Some of his former U23 colleagues have gone on to play for England, whilst (of late) Prowsie has found it difficult to even get a seat on the bench.

All things considered he's probably the right choice as captain (now that Davis is on his way) and January could be a make-or-break period in his career.

LoisDeem added 16:29 - Jan 2 long as it's not another ill timed 'training game' which should've been played behind closed doors (v Citeh) -otherwise it's old rope for new Ralph to hang the older baffling one by. "Blame me" Krueger should be making himself clear to Gao regarding his misplaced budget too.
