Experienced referee Chris Sarginson is the referee for Dale’s rearranged trip to Accrington on Tuesday.

Mr Sarginson is in his 11th season on the league list and Saturday will be his 15th Dale appointment and the second in just over six weeks, having refereed the 5-1 loss at Plymouth at the end of February.

Fans will remember Ethan Ebanks-Landell was sent-off in that game and in 2016/17, Chris dismissed THREE Dale players in two matches!

Callum Camps was sent-off for two yellow cards against AFC Wimbledon at the Crown Oil Arena, while Joe Rafferty and Donal McDermott saw red in a 3-1 defeat at Peterborough later in the campaign.
