The LFW pundits return to look ahead to the Sheffield United game and value elsewhere in the weekend and Christmas markets.

Brian Power
Last week was a IF only moment as a couple of weeks ago I highlighted the value of a 3-3 draw and last weekend there were 2 in the premiership, Skippers Brig was unlucky in the big race at Cheltenham after being backed into 15/2 from the highlighted 14/1. We also have a stewards enquiry regarding my other selection Shinrock Paddy who I thought was due to run at Cheltenham on Saturday but actually ran at Navan on Sunday and won at 7/2 so I am not sure if I can claim this (over to you Clive).

We head into the festive period with a couple of tricky looking games. Sheffield United are a bunch of bruisers as our editor has pointed out and will kick us off the park if required and our physio will be busy as we play them again in the Cup. Also before the game we will have our tri annual presentation of our new management team. Bristol City and Ipswich are our other opponents and I will have Stewpeas to score 1st in all 4 games and us to win all the games 2-1

The Snow that has fallen over the past 24 hours means the loss of Ascot in the Horse Racing and there could be more casualties due to the Weather. For these reasons I am going to stick with Premier League games and will have a £10 treble on all 3 of Sundays games to be won by the away team.

Have a great Christmas and a prosperous 2010

Come on you R’ssssssssssss

For the weekend:
£5 D Stewart 1st goal and £5 on QPR to win 2-1 in the following games

Sheff Utd, Bristol City , Ipswich and Sheff Utd in the FA Cup

£10 treble
Birmingham
Chelsea
Burnley

“No please not the TV, anything but the TV” was my cry as the loftforwords bailiffs came knocking at my door due to my severe betting losses.

With the balance now absolutely out of control – I have no-where to turn and have little hope of ending the season on a high.

Much like QPR in fact, even though we sit within touching distance of the playoffs our season unfortunately now looks like to end like most have in recent past, in the infamous mid-table obscurity. My prediction of QPR to win the Championship after our demolition of Preston now looks incredibly foolish.

Paul Hart could obviously prove me insanely wrong and turn himself into a Rangers hero, hard to imagine though, from a man that was sacked as a Conference manager as little as four years ago. Depressing isn’t it.

So how do I get out of my financial loftforwords turmoil, big prices and plenty of them.

With the racing card this weekend falling victim to snow, its football all the way and I’m praying my reputation can be re-ignited as a tipster.

For the weekend:
£10 on Sheff Utd to win and 5 or more total goals in the match (16/1 Paddypower)
£9 on exactly 5 goals in the game (11/1 Skybet)
£5 on Tarrabt to score 1st (8/1 Skybet)

£1 Super Yankee (26 Bets) - £26
Portsmouth to beat Liverpool – Draw no Bet (7/2 Skybet)
Ricky Lambert to score 1st in Leeds vs Southampton – (8/1 Paddypower)
Nottingham Forest to win to nil against Preston – (9/5 Paddypower)
West Bromwich to score 3+ against Blackpool – (10/3 Bet365)
Sheffield Wednesday to score 3+ against Swansea – (8/1 Bet365)
