Josh Sims Makes Debut In New York Derby
Monday, 26th Aug 2019 20:56

Josh Sims made his debut for New York Red Bulls in the derby game against New York FC, find out how he got on and also the other Saints players on loan at other clubs.

Josh Sims was a 65th minute substitute for New York Red Bulls who went down 2-1 against local rivals New York FC in the MLS.

Fraser Forster was a starter though as he made his second debut for Celtic as they beat Hearts 3-1 at home, in fairness though this would not be too much of a test for the Keeper in that competition is a word long missing from the Scottish Premier League since the issues that Rangers have had in the last decade and Forster will have to wait till the first meeting between the two clubs this season for a real test.

Harrison Reed was an unused sub for Saints opponents on Tuesday evening Fulham, this was the second game running for Reed to not get off the bench and so far in his four possible games he has only managed 2 sub appearances for 11 mins and 6 mins respectively.

Alfie Jones played the full 90 minutes of Gillingham’s 1-0 defeat against Coventry at Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s Stadium with Tyreke Johnson helping Woking continue their fine form by beating previously unbeaten Solihull Moors.
