Spurs Game Heading For Sell Out

Saints fans came back to the cause on Saturday against Crystal Palace after a run of good results and it is looking like they will return for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on New Years Day.
A crowd of 31,308 turned out for the visit of Palace buoyed by a run of good results that had seen crowds drop alarmingly after the Leicester debacle.
Now it seems that the Saints supporters are again turning out for the visit of Spurs on New Years Day, with two days to go before the game, areas that are not already sold out have limited availability and ticket sales are way ahead of the Palace game at this stage.
The top crowd this season is the 31,712 who saw the opening home game against Liverpool back in August and the Palace game saw only the third crowd of 31k plus with the visit of Chelsea being the only other to top that figure.
So good news, but against Palace the filling of empty seats seemed to mute the atmosphere a little and it was rather flat until Saints got going in the last 20 minutes, but in that final period the noise was ramped up and we need more of that against Spurs and right from the start.
So if you are going to go to the Spurs game, then get on line fast and snap up a ticket before they all go.
