Ralph Hasenhuttl To Miss West Ham Game Due To Self Isolating. Tuesday, 29th Dec 2020 14:53 Saints have just announced that Ralph Hasenhuttl will not be on the bench at St Mary's for the visit of West Ham United as he will be self isolating after a member of his household tested positive for Covid 19. Saints have just released the following statement: "Southampton Football Club can confirm that Ralph Hasenhüttl will not be in the dugout for this evening’s game against West Ham United at St Mary’s Stadium. A member of Ralph’s household tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday (28th December), and in keeping with the club’s usual protocols and government guidance, Ralph is currently self-isolating whilst we assess the situation further. Ralph will manage this evening’s game from home and will remain in contact with the team and coaching staff throughout the game via a video and audio link." Another big blow for Saints and it is not clear who will be in charge in place of Hassenhuttl, but with the ability to watch the game via a video link as well as being able to communicate with the bench by phone, hopefully it will not be too much of a setback.
