Saints have put another date in the pre season calendar at St Mary's to top off their schedule ahead of the Premier League opener at Everton.

Southampton have added a pre-season friendly against La Liga side Levante to their schedule, taking place at St Mary’s Stadium on Wednesday 4th August, 7pm .

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side against will play Spanish opposition twice in the space of four days, hosting Levante before welcoming Athletic Club of Bilbao on the Saturday following the midweek fixture.

Paco López’s Levante side finished 14th in La Liga last season but like Saints also enjoyed a run to the semi-finals of the Spanish Cuo the Copa Del Ray, where Ironically they lost to our other opposition Athletic Bilbao.
