Moi Elyounoussi will join Armando Broja in missing Saints trip to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night to take on Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, both will miss the game for differing reasond.

Armando Broja went off injured against Burnley on Saturday, but he will not be in the Saints team on Tuesday evening against Chelsea as he is unable to play against his parent club under the terms of his loan deal.

Also missing will be Moi Elyounoussi who will undergo a minor operation on Monday on his hand to repair some damaged ligaments to his thump.

Originally the Norwegian thought he had sprained the thumb and has played in recent weeks with his hand strapped up, but it has not been ideal and he has played through the pain and at times needed on field treatment.

It is a minor operation and he will undergo it today and miss the trip to Chelsea, however he is expected to be fit to play Watford on Saturday.
