Two years ago Saints fans turned out in their thousands outside St Mary's before the semi final against West Bromwich Albion to ramp up the atmosphere and welcome their team to the stadium, now this is set to happen again for the game against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

saintsmarching.com has picked up on social media that the positive vibes created two years ago before the game against the Baggies are set to happen again.

That night thousands gathered in the roads outside the ground to welcome the team bus to the ground, not only boosting their own players morale, but also disturbing the confidence of the opposition.

Indeed even West Brom manager at the time, Carlos Corberan, found the experience overwhelming.

“We were on the bus for 15 minutes waiting to find the entrance to the stadium. I don’t know why nobody came to help us or followed normal protocol. I didn’t expect it, and I don’t think it should have happened.”
