It seems a large chunk of our fanbase has stayed loyal and is renewing for 2026/27 season, however if you haven't done yet, you only have a couple of days left to do so to keep your existing seat and get the loyalty discount.

If you haven't renewed your season ticket and are sitting on the fence, then if you want to benefit from the renewal discount then you only have until Thursday evening 2nd July to do so.

On average the discount is worth about £50 so is not to be sniffed at and of course as the club are keen to tell you, being a season ticket holder has a host of other benefits, not least two £10 vouchers, one in July and the other in January that can be spent in the club megastore and this season they are going to let you use it on buying replica kit.

You also get 10% off food and beverages in the fan zones and concourses up to 45 minutes before kick off, given the price of the fare on offer, this is potentially a substantial saving.

There are also a host of other benefits, including a window to buy tickets for cup games without having to pay a booking fee and with some of these games being discounted.

You can also transfer tickets to friends & family when you can't attend a match.

If this isn't enough to tempt you into either renewing or buying a new ticket, then sit down before you read the next paragraph.

The club will also issue you with two £5 vouchers that can be used in the Dell Bar (only valid on non match days)and a free game of mini golf in the Level 1 zone in the Chapel Stand.

In fairness all sarcasm aside, it is at least an attempt by the club to add value to the season ticket, in the modern game football clubs have to broaden their income stream opportunities and fan zones and other facilities that can be used at the stadium on non matchdays are a way of doing so.

Some might sneer, but if more money comes into the club, then it can only be good for the things that fans really care about such as buying players.

So I would encourage all Southampton supporters to stick with the club for the coming season, yes last season was a disappointment in the end, but there is no reason why we should not repeat it, albeit without a pair of binoculars and I phone of a tree being involved.
