Saints Suggest Kit Launch Will Be Thursday July 9th Wednesday, 8th Jul 2026 10:50 Southampton have taken out an advert in Wednesday's Daily Echo in which they tease supporters that tomorrow might well be the day that they unveil the kit for the forthcoming season. The advert features what could be seen as a call to arms for Southampton supporters after the issues at the end of last season, a statement inlaid over a map of the city centre including St Mary's Stadium reads. "You will always be home, the gateway to the world, the safe harbour to weather any storm, you carry us away, Solent stretching far and wide. "Holding fast whilst we roam, you are the strength within, witness to what has been, footsteps falling as we march on. "Together we are Southampton made." Stirring words aimed at uniting a fan base that is still coming to terms with the "Spygate" calamity. But why should it be a hint that the kit launch is due ? Well last week the club had said that the launch would be "Soon" but have provided no updates since and in recent years the club has liked a little bit of intrigue. The clue in the Daily Echo Advert is that the Saints badge and Puma logo are featured at the bottom of the advert, above the date 09/07/26, perhaps indicating that the kit launch is set for this Thursday.
However whether we will see anything new in the kit will soon be revealed if only because we have to start playing in it in 4 weeks time, six weeks ago, we on this site revealed pictures claiming to be the new home shirt in the article Southampton Home Shirt Leaked We will perhaps find out tomorrow if they have jumped the gun or not.
