Huntington in dock over "Carlisle clash"

Paul Huntington hit with a misconduct charge by FA.

The powers-that-be are preparing to throw the book at Paul Huntington.

The young defender has until November 4th to response of a misconduct charge relating to something what happened at Elland Road last April.

His behaviour after the 3-2 win over Carlisle is under scrutiny, Huntington clashed with Carlisle coach Greg Abbot and made gestures towards the away fans.

He later apologised for this.

I understand Huntington was getting some stick from the Carlisle mob because he was born in their town.

He also claimed that his mobile number had been posted on the internet and his sister and girlfriend received death-threats.

It seems like a bit of silliness that got seriously out of hand to be honest. I don't know about you, but I hate it when these "fans" spend 90 minutes giving stick and often hurling vile abuse at players and yet get all uppity and sometimes get the police involved when the player shows the slightest reaction.

I remember playing Villa in the 1990's and Mark Bosnich spotting me at the Kop End and the end of the game, "Skippy" started pointing at me and patting his stomach whilst blowing out his cheeks! I did not go running off to the nearest Plod and demanding West Yorkshire Police wasted valuable resources and launched an investigation, or the FA threw the book at the Aussie tw*t.

Besides, I had the last laugh - have you seen Bosnich nowadays? even I'm Lena Zavaroni compared to him!
