John Rooney's trial at Huddersfield Town has come to an end and he won't be offered a deal there.  This leaves young Rooney without a club with just over two weeks before the new season starts.

The Terriers manager Lee Clark told the Huddersfield Examnier “We thank him for the effort but they will not be staying with us.  John worked well with us, but the decision has been made to let him go, we wish him well and we move on.”

Rooney still has a contract offer on the table from Macc and he needs to make a decision now before he is left in limbo.
