Interesting article, I agree on most of it. Are there any Premier league stadiums out there that have the stands/seats right near the pitch?
If they were to build a 20,000-24,000 capacity stadium I believe we could fill it every week, providing it has the atmosphere. With the capacity to go larger if we need it.

Focus on the positives too, Imagine that 40,000 (although I don't think we would fill it, not even in the premier league) stadium as a fortress, teams like Stoke manage to make their stadiums intimidating?? (although I haven't been there). Also, I am hoping the larger the stadium the cheaper the tickets would be, as that would make good business sense. Would they rather charge £45 and have a half filled stadium or charge £20 and fill it. The owners would make the same amount of money, or there abouts, the atmosphere would be better, everyone would have a good day out and make fans want to come back every week, get us the win and it would look great on the telly as no one wants to see a half filled stadium. I still remember seeing highlights of Wigan games with half filled stadium and that was when they were in the Premier league.

The best of both worlds would be something similar to Sapporo Dome in Japan, but on a smaller scale. Although that stadium is approx 40,000 seats and it looks big. I can't see why it can't be done to have 20,000 seats for smaller games; squeeze everything together so it's similar to Loftus Road and the 40,000 for their music concerts. Vid here - retracting seats at 1:08.

End of term report - defenders
at 18:43:42

Agree with the Fabio part. Why would we loan in Fabio when we could of bought Taiwo, the only reason would be that Taiwo didn't enjoy his time and didn't want to sign? Looking forward to your midfielders report. My dad thinks Mbia is a good player as he seems to be one of the only players with any aggression where as my mate thinks he is useless and we should get rid of him mainly because he has to much aggression and commits silly fouls

So weird, a few weeks ago we were drawing matches 0-0, shutting the big teams out but not scoring goals either. And now we are scoring goals but also letting them in.

Now would be a good time to get 2 wins in a row. Put pressure on the other teams around us. If they score first, we won't win. Let's hope Samba and Hill have the games of their lives (Samba and Hill sounds like some 80's cop show; Starsky and Hutch).

QPR provide more easy pickings for Michu and his Swans — full match report

Great write up. As bad as all those players played, I think HR is to blame for most of that first half for having the formation wrong; or a lot of credit goes to Laudrup on setting his team up, 3 in midfield and still dominated our 5. They set up on closing our players down as soon as they touched the ball, Taarabt can't play his way out of 3 players closing him down, not many players can unless they have support and Taarabt didn't get that. HR shouldn't have played him up front on his own, but credit to HR for changing at half time.

Feel sorry for TF and HR, a lot of money spent and there will be no return when we go down (and unlikely we will return to premier league for another few years); HR because he had a great record as a manager and now it's probably ruined, plus if this is his last job he won't want to remembered for this. Everyone would want to finish on a high.

I wonder where we would be now if Neil Warnock was allowed to continue...

Cesar stars again as Nelsen bids farewell — full match report

Good draw... but when I look at Reading and Southampton and the way they play, I just feel we having nothing going forward. Look at both of them tonight on match of the day, full on attacks against top teams Man Utd and Chelsea. Also, every time we get a result, the teams around us equal or better us.

The gambling goes on as QPR smash record for Remy
at 22:01:11

Although I know nothing about the player; I don't doubt his talents but is he really the player for QPR? Yes we can't score goals at the moment and we do need a striker, Zamora, Cisse not good enough. Boothroyd played well the other day, but can he do that week in and week out. We need a bargain player, we need a 'Michu'. Someone that won't beak our bank balance and will stick with us when we go down. Also, someone that will fight for their place in the team.

We still need a defender or 2, especially now that Nelsen is leaving in Feb I heard.

Resolutions and revolution as QPR embark on 2013 — full match preview

Well said. Didn't Reading just sign a captain for £609k? I hate the transfer window, it makes all our players nervous and panicy, they think they are going to get replaced.
I have accepted the fact we will go down, at least the tickets we will be cheaper (hopefully) and we can get rid of some the big names high earners. Start again with fresh hungry players.

Beware the pitfalls of a Redknapp coronation
at 22:16:58

Another good article. My dad is excited at the prospect of Harry, but I text him in Cyprus and told him, not sure he is the right man (he can't be any worse than MH), but at what cost?! Poor Tony F and the board; they are going to be paying his wages (but I guess it was there mistake for firing Neil Warnock and grabbing Hughes)
Whichever manager we get, they need to sell players too old and too big wages. Start preparing for a relegation battle; because we will still be in one by Feb/Mar; if we are safely out of the relegation zone by Jan I will be very surprised. If we are going to sign players, it needs to be young hungry players like you said.
And whichever manager does take over, they need to get off to a flying start, the QPR players at the moment can completely deflate like they did with that thrashing to Swansea at the start of the season; and it could be just a case of history repeating.

I forgot to add, Apparently HR is waiting until Sunday to sign for the Ukraine national side. I can't see why, there is no way we will win this saturday and therefore pointless sacking MH after that.

c'mon guys/girls. You're starting to sound like the QPR players; where's the spirit. This is QPR after all, they will probably shock us on saturday and win (I doubt it, but you never know).

Great report Clive. I was only joking with the above, we are a joke.
I think I read someone's comment on a different report; we not to stop bringing in big names (yes they may sell shirts) but they are not winning us games. We want young hungry players, who will give 110% to be able to play against Robin Van Persie, Aguero etc.

Hughes sleeps soundly as Reading six pointer approaches — full match preview
at 18:43:21

I think they should sack Hughes and hire you as the next manager.
Your little speech even got me in the mood to give a Mackie like performance and I even pulled a muscle while jogging. "The time is now. Get angry, get the sleeves rolled up, and get stuck in. No more excuses, no more promises of jam tomorrow, no more frustration. Anger, passion, pace, speed, commitment.

It's time, once again, for Queens Park Rangers to stop waving it around and start f***ing."
Don't want to panic anyone; [Spoiler alert in case anyone wants to watch MOTD tonight] but just had a look at the scores today with Norwich, Villa, Wigan all winning and Swansea getting a draw; that 17th place safety margin is gradually getting out of reach.
What did Hughes say a few months back "while I am in charge we won't be involved in a relegation battle next season". Hughes is not to blame for all of this situation, players too for silly mistakes and the fact we can't convert our chances as proven from the below link

QPR hunt first win under the Monday night lights — full match preview

"BeauRanger added 14:03 - Oct 1
Don't panic......Yet!

A 1-0 ugly win will do tonight to get the season started!"

Ok, NOW IT'S TIME TO PANIC! They were c**p today. I wish I put a few quids on Diakite to get sent off, the minute I saw him hassling and charging at players I knew he would get sent off, I bet I would have got amazing odds. Anyway, I don't understand this team sometimes, they play brilliantly against Chelsea and Tottenham but some how don't end up getting a win from either and yet play rubbish against a poorer team. Credit to West Ham though, they hassled our midfield in the 1st half and that's all they needed.
AND if one more person says don't panic I will go mental. We need to be winning games at home, especially against teams that are equal or worse quality than us, West Ham, Swansea etc. Not even getting a draw against these teams is bad. Our winnable home games are disappearing, before you know it it's gonna be Sat 22nd Dec and we will be stuck at the bottom with a run of very difficult games. I can see a few winnable home games to Southampton and Reading but then the way Reading are playing at the moment, who should have won against Newcastle and beating us already at home... I'm looking at our next few fixtures and starting to hyper ventilate. away to West Brom who are playing brilliantly, at home to Everton who are playing brilliantly, away to Arsenal which will always be tough.

Spurs’ mad minute stuns improving QPR — full match report
at 19:24:49

Not sure that Dyer should be MOM. Yes he was forced into action and against Bale; but on all the counter attacks that Tottenham did I seem to remember Bale running at us and just Hill and Nelson back defending against 3 on 2; or maybe that was just the nightmares I was having. He played well, in fact all of them did. I think if it wasn't for Hill's 2 GREAT blocked shots we would have lost by a lot more; he may have blocked more than 2 but he definitely blocked 2 very important goal scoring opportunities. Also did that great tackle on Sigurdasson which people think was a penalty. Also, if it weren't for Freidal's brilliant save in the first half he would have got a fantastic header that most of the keepers in the premier league wouldn't have saved. Bring on West Ham and if we don't get the 3 points from that we might have to start panicing. C'mon you R's!!

Where did it all go so wrong? — Tactics

Your first 3 paragraphs explain my feeling perfectly. I was saying that back when they were winning those games 4-0,5-0 etc. Yes start off with 2or3 of those games but then you need to play teams that are equal/better than you to test you.
