There's not much info out there yet. I'll have a sniff around. |

We're being linked to Forest Green midfielder Ebou Adams. We were reported to be after him in the January window. It makes sense. It's a position we need strengthen so go after the best player from the best team in L2. I'd say this rumour's got legs but Cardiff are supposedly in for him too. They're capable of paying silly money. |

We now take on an end of season feeling. With the shackles off, will we play a more expansive game and pick up more wins or will we take the foot off the pedal with our intensive game plan? This month is more difficult to predict. We've only 3 matches this month because of the international break when England have 2 friendly matches . One against Switzerland and the other against the Ivory Coast. Saturday 5th March Stoke City v Blackpool Saturday 12th March Blackpool v Swansea City Wednesday 16th March Blackpool v Sheffield United |

Rotherham and Lincoln continue to monitor 7-goal forward as Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool also circle Rotherham United and Lincoln City both sent scouts to watch Notts County forward Ruben Rodrigues in action for the National League side against Rochdale in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, according to Nottinghamshire Live. Rodrigues has emerged on the radar of numerous clubs this season following his impressive form for Notts County in the National League this term. The 25-year-old has managed to fire home seven goals in his 15 league appearances this term to date and that has played a major role in establishing them amongst the teams chasing automatic promotion to the Football League. It has already been reported that both League One dup Rotherham and Lincoln are interested in making a potential move for Rodrigues ahead of the January transfer window. While there has also been reports that Championship Blackpool are also one of the other teams that are keeping a watchful eye over the forward’s development. According to the latest report from Nottinghamshire Live, Blackburn Rovers are also potentially interested in Rodrigues and they have also been monitoring his performances for Notts County in the National League this season. The report from Nottinghamshire Live added that Rotherham and Lincoln have once again sent scouts to watch the forward in action for Notts County. That came with the 25-year-old playing the full 90 minutes as the National League side were beaten 2-1 at home by Rochdale in the FA Cup first round. The verdict You would have to say that it is reaching the stage where Notts County are going to do very well to be able to keep hold of Rodrigues during the January transfer window considering that Rotherham and Lincoln are showing such an interest in his performances at the moment. Rodrigues looks the sort of player that has the quality to progress beyond the National League and make an impact in the Football League. Rotherham and Lincoln will both be searching for that extra bit of quality in the winter window to help them push for automatic promotion and the play-offs respectively and the 25-year-old might be someone that can come in and help them achieve that. Blackpool and Blackburn are also very attractive potential destinations for Rodrigues given that they could offer him the chance to leap up to Championship level. However, whether he is ready to take that big of a step up remains to be seen and it will be interesting to see if either of the Lancashire clubs firm up their interest. |

 | Forum Thread | Club Statement at 19:40 27 Sep 2021
Club Statement Blackpool Football Club is working with the relevant authorities to identify certain individuals who opted to throw pyrotechnics and missiles during Saturday’s league fixture against Barnsley. The Club will not accept such behaviour from a small minority at matches and adopts a zero-tolerance policy on the matter. These actions harm the Club’s reputation and run the risk of FA sanctions, which could see the Club fined, forced to partially close areas of its stadium and face increasing costs for the stewarding and policing of matches. The financial consequences of this could affect spending on the first-team squad and infrastructure, as well as potentially impacting the price of tickets for future games. Away allocations may also be restricted. Anybody identified as engaging in such activity will be subject to the appropriate sanctions, including banning orders and criminal prosecution. If anyone has any information connected to the incidents, they can contact Lancashire Police on 101. Chief Executive Ben Mansford said: “At a time when the Club is aiming to re-connect and attract a new generation of supporters to Bloomfield Road, it is sad that a small number are potentially jeopardising so much good work from so many connected to the Club. “The passion of our supporters, which has created tremendous atmospheres both at home and away, has been lauded for the right reasons this season. However, we will not allow the behaviour of a few to ruin it for the fantastic support of the majority. “The health and safety of all those inside football stadiums is paramount. We will be working with the SLO, fan groups and Lancashire Police to prevent further issues, like those witnessed, from occurring.” https://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/post/club-statement-barnsley-match [Post edited 27 Sep 2021 19:41]

Appointed as the Calderwood replacement. It'd seem like a good move by the club. Time will tell. |

A nice series that won't give you any nightmares. Leadership and motivation. Give it a try if you haven't already done so. |
