Pompey May Have Empty Seats On Saturday

It is looking like there may be a few hundred empty seats in the away section when Portsmouth visit St Mary's on Saturday for the South Coast Derby.

Portsmouth fans may have the embarrasment of empty seats in their section for their visit on Saturday, firstly its unclear whether they have actually sold all their tickets for the game, on their official site there is nothing confirming that they have sold out, indeed the last article on buying tickets indicates that there are still some left on general sale, although this is from some weeks ago.

In fact the only article on tickets since then was put up today, it makes no mention of whether all tickets are gone, but does confirm that over 150 supporters who have bought the vouchers needed for the tickets for the game, have yet to purchase their coach travel, due to their current financial predicament, Lucketts their usual provider of coaches for away games, would not take the risk of not being paid, so travel had to be booked seperately with them, on production of your voucher number, however with the deadline to book being 5pm tonight, it seems somewhere around a couple of hundred havent yet done so and face not being able to go to the game as the rules about travel are set in stone be the police.

Like our bubble for the game at Fratton, to get your match ticket you need to be on a coach or you wont get in, some Portsmouth fans are speculating that these people who havent booked dont wish to witness the humiliation if they are soundly beaten at St Mary's in what on paper is the most unevenly matched game between the two clubs since Saints visited Fratton on this day in 1976.

The fate today’s Swansea footballers would never have to endure

Jamal Lowe : Still to be contacted regards his future at Swansea, Langstaff update
We have been told by numerous Swansea fans of a chance meeting in a service station between Jamal Lowe and those returning from Norwich yesterday. Nothing in that or indeed the conversation they had yesterday. Indeed there has to be some interpretation from what we know already on Jamal Lowe.
Brave Swans in memorable game at Carrow Road
It was a pulsating game to watch and very much one of my favourite away games of the season. The Swans looked an entirely different side to that we saw at Middlesbrough when it is clear a catalyst for commitment was agreed behind the scenes at Swansea City. To a man every player grafted and wore the shirt with pride. To see the players really acknowledge the Swans support at Carrow Road this afternoon was emotional.
