Former Swans star Andy Robinson has warned his ex-team mates that Histon is a horrible place to go
Swansea City will make the trip to face the Conference side on January 3 after they defeated Robinson and his Leeds team-mates in Round Two.
And Robbo has warned his former team mates that it will not be an easy trip and thinks the Swans will receive an aerial bombardment courtesy of John Beck - well known for that tactic
Speaking to News of the World. Robinson said "Histon is a horrible place to go. Swansea are in for a tough game no doubt about it.
"The pitch there is really narrow and it's a nightmare to play on if the weather is bad. The other thing about Histon is they are more long-ball than football.
"John Beck is their assistant manager and everyone knows that's the way he likes to play the game.
"That's what Histon do and it works for them but it's not pretty to watch. The ball will be in the air so much the Swansea physio had better bring some headache tablets with him because some of the lads might need them.
"They're also big on set pieces and that's how they scored against us.
"Roberto said he felt Histon were the favourites for the tie and having played there I would back that up.
"On their pitch theu would be favourites agianst most teams. It's very tight and when it rains it gets waterlogged very quickly and cuts up.
"Swansea have got to hope the weather is good on the day of the game. Whatever the conditions they will be in for a very hard game. IT will be a culture shock for some of their new foreign players.
"The changing rooms are small and when we were there only one shower was working. It's definitely not the Liberty Stadium!
"All the Histon players were up for it when they played us. They worked their socks off and it will be exactly the same when Swansea go there.
"In these games you've got to be up for the challenge and unfortunately we didn't come through it. We made one error and it allowed them to score. But the Swansea boys will know what to expect after playing against three non-league teams last season.
"They're flying high in the Championship and I think they will beat Histon. I had five wonderful years at Swansea. I always look out for their results and I always want the boys to win. I'm hoping to get down there in the next couple of weeks to watch a game."
