Trust Week - Dale In Exile

It's not just Manchester United with a support base from outside the immediate area. We have always been very proud to have over a hundred members of the Trust bring registered as Exiled Supporters, and this has strengthened the link between those supporters and the club. Our exiled members come from all four corners of the globe, spreading the Dale message wherever they go.

Every year, we organise an Exiles Day at the club, where those supporters are invited to be guests for the day as match sponsors and given a tour of the ground. Last year, we hosted this on Good Friday for the home game against Aldershot with around thirty of our exiles attending this particular fixture. In the past, our exiled members have even been given an exclusive Q&A session from the manager as part of their day.

Many exiles have met up and travelled together to matches as they find out that they are not in the only Dale supporter living in their part of the world. Furthermore, our exiled members receive an Exiles Newsletter emailed to their inbox.

If you live outside of Rochdale, please ensure that you indicate “Exiled Membership" on the attached form when signing up for 2013-14. It costs exactly the same amount as adult membership, and there are no restrictions on what is classed as exiled. It might be Halifax or Hong Kong, Wigan or Western Samao or London or Luxembourg. If you don’t live in Rochdale, you qualify.

The map below shows where many of our exiles have come from:
