Can We Beat Man Utd? Again.....

The Swans will return to Premier League action on Sunday following their progression in the Capital One Cup and with that return we will go off in search of a third successive league win over Manchester United.

We may have mentioned it once or twice before but the Swans completed a league double over Louis Van Gaal's side last season with an opening day victory at Old Trafford followed up by a come from behind victory at the Liberty Stadium.

It was part of what we know to be a superb season for Garry Monk's side and he will be looking to continue our unbeaten start to this season as the Premier League gets ready to take a break for the first international break of the season.

A win over Man Utd would lift us above them heading into that first break but they come to Swansea on the back of their own unbeaten start to the season which has seen them win two, draw one and not yet concede a goal in the Premier League.

The Swans we know are in good form with one win and two draws in the league on top of last night's Capital One Cup success will see us going into the game with confidence high and believing that we can upset our visitors once more.

It does seem strange talking about a game against Man Utd where confidence is high and we are possibly anticipating a win but why shouldn't we at this point in time? We pushed Chelsea all the way on their own patch and were desperately unlucky not to win and we breezed past Newcastle, a side that Man Utd could only draw with last weekend.

We have a team that is blending together well and in Gomis and Ayew we have two players that are scoring regularly and getting into positions to score even more often. If that can continue on Sunday then I see no reason why we won't grab at least a goal and that could be enough against a side who let's not forget have only scored two goals in their three Premier League games to date.

It will of course be a tough game but I do believe the Swans can do it once more. What are your thoughts? Cast your vote in the poll below

The fate today’s Swansea footballers would never have to endure
Swansea City bring this season to a close on Saturday with a home game against Millwall. However, what about those bygone days when footballers had no choice but to go down the pit after their career ended, or open a toy shop, pub or retrain ? That thought would petrify todays modern footballer.
Jamal Lowe : Still to be contacted regards his future at Swansea, Langstaff update
We have been told by numerous Swansea fans of a chance meeting in a service station between Jamal Lowe and those returning from Norwich yesterday. Nothing in that or indeed the conversation they had yesterday. Indeed there has to be some interpretation from what we know already on Jamal Lowe.
Brave Swans in memorable game at Carrow Road
It was a pulsating game to watch and very much one of my favourite away games of the season. The Swans looked an entirely different side to that we saw at Middlesbrough when it is clear a catalyst for commitment was agreed behind the scenes at Swansea City. To a man every player grafted and wore the shirt with pride. To see the players really acknowledge the Swans support at Carrow Road this afternoon was emotional.

Sam Parker hasn’t turned down a new deal, he is willing to negotiate
He was a revelation for the Swans for the few games he played this season, and now it emerges Sam Parker has ‘turned down’ a new Swansea City contract. News is thin on the ground, and some of it just incorrect as he looks to involve his representatives in some further negotiations. Plus his current contract runs for two more years.
