The final word : CINQUE TERRIBLE FOR WOEFUL SWANS
It’s the final word on the Indy before we look forwards and a home game against Blackburn Rovers this coming Saturday. Rhys Clayton completes the misery with positivity.
Swansea City : Vitor reflects the weather & his sides performance post match
Vítor Matos looked as drowned as his side were on the pitch after the 5–0 drubbing at Loftus Road. There was little he could say beyond promising to look back at the game and analyse what went wrong. He has a week to manage that after a day out in W12 ended after fifteen minutes.
5-0 ! Swans thrashed as questions will be asked for sure
It’s got such a great traffic system, you know. The Westway, that is. Or at least it did have. Under the glow of those yellow lights, there was once something rather impressive about the journey into west London. Today, however, there was driving rain and precious little to suggest Swansea City were a competent football team at any Championship level.

QPR V Swansea City : Match day morning latest & team news
It’s match day on the Indy with the Swans ready to take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road today (3pm) Last night Middlesbrough had an emphatic win at Bolton Wanderers 1-5 which saw them leapfrog over the Swans into first place. Only a win this afternoon for the Swans will see them return to the number one spot.
25% of the season gone this weekend: Swans injuries & fixtures that matter
On-loan teenage ‘sensation’ — not our words — Jeremy Monga will travel with the squad tomorrow as the Swans make the relatively short journey (well, it’s one road, ish) to Shepherd’s Bush to take on QPR at Loftus Road. The news we have is that Jeremy Monga could well make the bench after knuckling down in training over the past week or so.
QPR v Swans : The weekend that could change the top two
On Saturday at 3pm the Swans play a fixture away to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. This will test the Swans ability to not only take on strong-arm tactics and prevail, but avoid what the R’s enjoy best, a draw. After the West Ham setback last weekend this must be earmarked as a chance to get the show back on the road.
Swansea City : Treat this Palace Matos link with caution, and here is why
Swansea City are as relaxed as can be about what look like wild claims from TEAMtalk regarding Vítor Matos and Crystal Palace’s interest in his services. No approach, or even telephone contact, has been made by Steve Parish or his sporting director, Matt Hobbs.
Swansea City : Does International achievment take away from club form ?
Swansea City looked one player short of taking a point against West Ham, raising the question: “Does the club’s success on the international stage come at a cost against top sides like West Ham?”
Swans stand the test but poor finishing means no points
There will be much reflection on this game today and indeed until we start to concentrate on next Saturday’s fixture against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. A game which sold out for Swans fans eighteen days ago.
