Williams Happy With Swans Defensive Display
The Swans point at Crystal Palace pleased skipper Ashley Williams this afternoon not least because it meant a third successive clean sheet for the Swans following the shut outs against West Ham and West Brom.
The Swans are back to the defensive strength that served us so well last season and with Ashley Williams on the top of his game once again then it can only bode well for the second half of the season as we reach the halfway mark with 19 points under our belts.
Goals may not be free flowing for the Swans at this point in time but with the defence holding out well in the last three games we can take great heart from that fact and know that the side is starting to absorb the levels of pressure that we have being heaped upon us.
We can now head to Old Trafford on Saturday knowing that another clean sheet will take us at least to the supposed safety mark of forty points but also with a renewed confidence that was missing for so long
And it is something that has please Williams as he said after the game "This is a tough place to come," he said. "We defended brilliantly to get a third clean sheet on the bounce, it is what we wanted and what we needed.
"I am pleased with today's work. It was vital, absolutely necessary.
"We did brilliantly - we knew coming here we would have to defend [a lot] and to be men and stand up, and everyone on the pitch did that."

Swansea City : The confusing decision making for a whole season It was a pretty poor end to what can only be described as a disappointing football season for Swansea City.
