Nathan Redmond Signs New Contract
Saints fans will be delighted to hear that Nathan Redmond has shown his faith in the direction the club are going by putting pen to paper on a new contract at St Mary's
A year ago there weren't many Saints fans who would have put much money on Nathan Redmond having the season he was just about to have, one that saw him win numerous player of the year awards, and finally show the form that some Saints fans had faith in him being able to do and in doing so pushing himself back into the England reckoning.
Now he has shown his commitment to the cause by signing a new 4 year contract with the club.
Speaking on the clubs website Redmond said.
"I’m really happy to have signed, and I'm just wanting to get the season up and going now.
"We've got a great group of players here, who I've been with for the last three years. I see them every single day and it's a pleasure to go out there and perform with them at the weekend and train hard with them every single week. I feel like we can hopefully build something special and to be a part of it for the next four years is good for me.”
Ralph Hasenhüttl said:
"It is very good news for the club. He's a player who showed in the last season that he is very important for Southampton and I think it's a massive signal for the club, and for us all, that he wants to follow our way. It's a very positive day for us.”
Hopefully this is a sign that the squad itself are committed to Ralph Hasenhuttl and what he is trying to achieve and that after a couple of seasons of turmoil we are now back on the right track.

Swansea City : Where are the Swans today on all their player business ? Bar the Macaulay Langstaff news there has been little of any concrete info in the offing this week. Mind you that alone caused a stir. Between now and the transfer window opening on June 14th, which is the date for the European Championships to start there will be little to speculate on.
Swansea City : The confusing decision making for a whole season It was a pretty poor end to what can only be described as a disappointing football season for Swansea City. The defeat to Millwall yesterday was a display that has frustrated Swansea City supporters all season. A lack of effort, intensity and desire rewarding the home support with yet another home loss.
