Your complete Euro Championship Guide : Media stupidity called out again

Our weekend review starts where it should start with England proving once again why they won’t win this competition, and not only that putting it all on display last night at Wembley.

They were lucky to beat Croatia, who are possibly nowadays one of the poorer sides in the competition, and the performance against Scotland where they scraped a point was as significantly bad as it was obviously flawed. England were lethargic, slow and continued in the vein of back passing when they could go forwards Even the players it seemed were beginning to believe the hype and media stupidity this particular national side carries around with them.

Coverage of the game against Scotland was over bearing, seemingly trying to convince all and sundry England have a chance of winning the game, it was pathetic. They have never won anything in most people’s recollection, and when they did it was again flawed and questionable. Fifty five years without even a sniff of victory and the countries media make them favourites even in games it’s so plainly obvious they won’t win.

Like Friday nights game.

Today we see three countries with every chance of winning the competition or at least showing why they may well do. Germany take on Portugal in a cracking and mouth watering tie. Both sides really have to win the game, they won’t of course but expect something special. Ronaldo has never scored against Germany, he may have to today to win the game for his country.

France take on Hungary as well today in another exciting match, now surely tournament favourites France are littered with class and Pogba who seems to love playing for his country is crucial to a win today. In their opening game, Hungary were defeated 3-0 by Portugal with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice after Raphael Guerreiro opened the scoring.

France to win this one for sure.

Spain will also fancy their chances against Poland today, they complete the trio of mouth watering games with the best countries in Europe involved for sure. No sentiment here, Spain are better all round than many sides, and have dominated European football this century.

Our attention turns to an under hyped but performing national side tomorrow morning, whatever the result we know it will be a thrilling encounter for Italy v Wales in Rome,

It is expected up to 1,500 Wales followers will be in Rome on Sunday.

So here are the host cities for the Euros
