Swansea City in speculative inquiry for Domingos Quina via his agent

Domingos Quina’s representatives have had preliminary talks with Swansea City The player is currently on loan from Watford to Fulham, spoke with the swans on Tuesday we are told. Today numerous news outlets are reporting his possible switch to Swansea City before Monday night.

For us this is a late and speculative inquiry with Watford, something the swans would place in the nice to have basket. Domingos is a Portuguese international at numerous levels but not in the first team. Now twenty two his career hasn’t taken off at Watford and he has had loans at Granada and Fulham in recent times. Speculation is now he will return to Watford, and having not played for them this season he can join another club.

Having not featured in a matchday squad since the beginning of October, Quina could be set to switch clubs in the second tier in search of more game-time and Russell Martin is believed to want a fresh face to bolster his creative options report MSN news.

Fulham manager Marco Silva doesn’t seem to be impressed with the players effort in training or application. Commenting recently "Domingos has to work harder to win back his place. He got his chance and that is clear by getting in the starting 11 against Leeds and Blackpool, and it was not just a matter of performance, but in the training sessions as well. He is fit, but was not in the squad the last game — a technical decision and it was mine.”

Numerous other championship clubs are interested in Domingos including Reading and QPR.
