Nathanael Ogbeta yet to start for Peterborough United but that has to change

Swansea City loanee Nathanael Ogbeta hasn’t enjoyed the best of starts at London Road since moving from the Swans to the Posh in early January. He hasn’t started a game and after the 5-0 home hammering they got from Bolton Wanderers on Saturday fans are now clamouring for him to start a game for the first time.

Ogbeta has been available for every Peterborough game but hasn’t yet had a start. He has made three substitute appearances and has one game where he wasn’t selected to get on the pitch. Disappointingly for him also has two games where he was completely ignored by manager Darren Ferguson. The Posh boss has been manager at Peterborough on four separate occasions but Saturdays defeat was a hard one to take.

Posh fans are clamouring for Ogbeta to get more game time.

* Ogbeta for Butler the only change needed — @lowestoftposh
* Ogbeta for Butler, Knight for Kent, Fuchs back on the bench — @davidrbull2010
* Ogbeta and Knight for Butler and Thompson. Hurry up back Norburn! — @SidDay1

These are just a few of the many examples of supporters choices at London Road. The majority are wanting Ogebta in their side. He has had limited minutes but some of that time has impressed the Peterborough support. Maybe the manager will agree with the fans and include Ogbeta in the side for their trip to Fleetwood on Tuesday ? It’s hard to see with a defence that ships goals like Peterborough United do he has any other choice.
