Swansea City reluctant to waste money on paying up managerial contracts

The Swansea majority ownership are ‘reluctant’ to pursue a manager / coach who is tied into a contract as they continue their search for a replacement leader of the first team squad. Although Russell Martin is yet to be formally approved as the Saints next manager the Swans have been canvassing out of work managers.

John Eustace is the latest name to enter the running, however, don’t waste your money at this point. He is tied in to another two years at Birmingham City so any money coming in from Martin and his backroom staff leaving would go straight to Eustace’s employers. As much as Russell Martin was told to work with what you have from within three weeks ago, something else which hasn’t helped his decision to leave the club, the owners themselves are not into wasting money.

That report is here –> Swansea to look within

John Eustace ( below ) as an example has been at the Blues for fifty games, in that time he has a thirty percent win record. Would you want that track record at Swansea City ? Yes, under difficult times, but how difficult a job will the next Swans manager have ? Whoever that is the club are still chasing out of work but higher profiled managers if our latest information is correct, and there’s no reason to doubt it.

Eustace is currently second favourite beneath Chris Davies but we expect that to change over the coming two days as it begins to register with people that the Swans won’t be splashing the cash for a new appointment when better is out there.
