Sheehan : Football wise we have got a lot of work to do !

Alan Sheehan the Swans temporary head coach admitted there are more questions than answers after what was a very poor performance at Stoke City last night. Even though his side snatched a draw at the end of the game, the scoreline covered up all manner of sins.

It isn’t good enough that references are made that the players are sticking together. It is stated every week, because the players at Swansea aren’t displaying that on the pitch of late. "We’ve had an honest conversation with the players, and obviously it’s not the performance we wanted to put in by any means,” said Sheehan. "There is no hiding away from that, but the players showed character and resilience to get that point on the road, and make it four out of six”

There will always be positives though.

It also shouldn’t go unnoticed that Swansea have a far better goal difference than all the teams below them in the Championship. Even above them that applies to Bristol City and Norwich City as well. After this result Swansea City remain in sixteenth place in the Championship on twenty five points.
