Swansea City v Burnley : Game day on the Indy - Full pre match

The Swans have an opportunity for a quick recovery against Burnley this afternoon at the Swansea.com (3pm) Gonçalo Franco is fit and will be wanting to make up for his mistake which led to the only goal of the game in the loss away at Watford on Wednesday night.

Hopes on Harry Darling playing remain, we reported on his potential to play on Thursday after some information was gathered on his current situation.

That’s here ⚽️ Darling improving

Includes Burnley focus.

Alan Sheehan, the Swans interim manager / head coach spoke to the press yesterday remarking on this game.

Hannes Delcroix who is on loan from Burnley can’t play against his parent club and should Harry Darling not pass his fitness test this morning then it’s bare bones time with Cyrus Christie or Kyle Naughton stepping in. Yesterday as we reported Harry was fit and wanted to play, this morning that call will be made by Sheehan. The treatment table has been well attended this week both before and after the Watford game but there are no players definitely out of selection today.

Sheehan will have talks this coming week with Richard Montague and departing Chairman, Andrew Coleman on his short term future, however the club we are told are split on an immediate appointment. More on that on Sunday evening.

Burnley manager, Scott Parker also met with the press on Thursday before travelling south with his squad for the game.

Burnley are dangerous both home and away, we covered them on Thursday in the link above.

Later on we will have all your team news for the game and a full match report, stats and ratings post match.
