Tin pot club : Ipswich Town fans can only plead ignorance after ill advised and entitled comments

Ipswich Town followers have hilariously painted a picture that after one season and relegation (with less points than Cardiff City) from the Premier League they hold some form of dominance within the Championship. This after the signing of one Cameron Burgess by Swansea City yesterday.

It’s a common theme, but only usually used by Cardiff City fans who are currently in the old third division. (Where Ipswich were three years ago) The anger vented yesterday afternoon on all mediums seemed to carry with it an ignorance as to where their place is in football society. Our riposte can only be one of a chuckling adult at the antics of a child lashing out because they don’t understand the reasoning for their anger and vocal chord control. Despite some pretty nasty responses to Ipswich losing their once treasured centre back to Swansea they even undermined the player by stating his links to Valencia and Glasgow Rangers were made up agent talk. Well, if you read our report from last evening, we pretty much boot that into touch.

That’s the first job done.

The small town near Norfolk discussion continues.

Obviously every club has idiots who can’t sustain a conversation or understand what happens at the end of their noses, but this lot do seem to have a plethora of them. The ignorance and lack of awareness as to the type of club Burgess is coming to has exposed them to much laughter and ridicule. The Premier League does that to some fans, mostly newbies and bitter folk on the bandwagon who discolour how their club is perceived out in the big bad world of the internet. Comments made which not only will backfire on them but most certainly will make their Championship season more difficult.

We all know what the Swans have achieved already this summer window, information that is not only lost on these characters but displays our point remarkably well. First off let’s look at some of the nonsense they seem to want to be attached to their club. The ‘pot to piss in’ comments, a beautiful own goal. The Swans have a board member who is worth billions and is the second most wealthy hotelier in the USA. He recently bought the post office tower in London for three hundred million and is still deciding what to do with it. Plus, Tyler Morse is a Swansea City fan of some years. The investment of Luka Modrić who has already been instrumental in his links to Swansea City aiding the superb work of football director, Richard Montague and his team doesn’t seem to be news to the uneducated. A word of advice know your opposition before throwing tantrums.

The Swans have now signed five players and clearly Cameron Burgess buys into the identity of the Swans as he really didn’t have to think massively about the project he was walking in to. Despite as we mentioned in yesterday’s report confirmed discussions with Valencia CEO, Scotsman, Ron Gourlay. It’s the depth and then knowledge that always exposes the big time Charlie attitude. Our sources have been managed professionally over time, proving on countless occasions that our foothold on Scotland is transparent. Glasgow Rangers were another club, but you can read that from yesterday.

It isn’t so much a confrontational report today, it’s more like a poke in the eye for the hundreds of tractor drivers who have activated their stupidity in a form that will always see them come crashing down. The club have a small rivalry with Norwich City where fans are actually face to face and Ipswich genuinely believe it’s one of the biggest derby games in the UK. Anyone who knows the logistics that Swansea and Cardiff fans have to negotiate to get to a real derby will always laugh at this market town rivalry.

We move on.

Well, the ignorance shines through again here, and this is the general belief of many disgruntled, relegated Ipswich fans. Clearly not doing their research and one stating that because we are aligned to TWTD on fansnetwork we also don’t have a pot to piss on. Well, here’s the script. Again, a pair of ill advised posters who read the site but clearly without the capacity to understand where our money goes.

People do not think at times as to their little moments of madness, the majority which are posted anonymously, can cause quite a large reaction. Well, who cares when such a lack of cognitive ability is in place as per the posts above.

But, we keep it light hearted, the sad thing is there’s a large amount of Swansea fans who will not. That’s a matter for the coming season. Get your ‘pot to piss in’ flags made for their slow trip on second hand tractors to the Swansea.com.

There’s a few facts as well that very much hit their entitlement after one relegated season in the Premier League. You can’t argue with any of them, but a response we thought was well advised. Ipswich Town couldn’t even match a poor Cardiff City team when they got relegated.

Three relegations out of six !

We can only add this to the mix.

Anonymously of course is where these keyboard flakes get their biggest kicks. As we have said, every club has them. The Cameron Burgess transfer seems to have brought out the worst in our tractor riding friends, and of course we take it all lightly heartedly. However, like all Swansea fans we stand our ground in any forum. No doubt the violators in blue are looking for a new rivalry as we await the ‘why are they even in an English league’ remarks. And to be perfectly honest, they’ve just got one. In fact these comments really are most welcome, they’ve stirred the pot and there’s nothing like a Jack Army reaction, that’s two more games next season we will all be looking forward to.

Enjoy the ride folks.
