Zân Vipotnik Transfer : Our March report on him leaving in the summer seems to be coming to fruition

We have had it confirmed overnight that Zân Vipotnik is the target of a number of clubs including Slovan Bratislava. We have reported on Zân on numerous occasions regards his future at Swansea City.

It’s always best to confirm these rumours but it seems the outlet reporting Zân Vipotnik of interest to Slovan Bratislava [Nikeligmarkt (X)] do have a track record this summer. They were somewhat involved, to an extent in stating that Mykola Kukharevych was about to join the same club.We have had it confirmed that there is interest, however to what extent and level isn’t known. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to any Swans fan who reads our pages as we have already reported the Swans striker being unhappy with his situation at the Swans. Obviously this was reported before his recent brace of goals.

Back in March this year we reported exclusively that Vipotnik (below) could move in the summer.

⚽️ Zan Vipotnik could leave in the summer

It’s all about accountability when reporting on news that we gather from our many supporters and registered sources. We know thousands of you appreciate the effort which drives us forwards. On that Adam Idah is expected to be in Glasgow later today after Celtic refused to release his registration to Swansea City. Rodgers wants him available for Sundays derby match v Glasgow Rangers. This after everything had been agreed right through to terms, fee, personal terms and a medical completed. Richard Montague, the Swans Sporting Director has been working relentlessly to avoid this becoming an issue, however Celtic as we reported yesterday have a history of this behaviour.

They have also refused Yang Hyun-Jun to leave the club. It seems Brendan Rodgers is playing with fire a bit here. He could end up with very unhappy players unable to leave his club if he continues in this vein.

⚽️ The brain dead factor : No, not social media it’s actually Brendan Rodgers. Celtic, Idah and his agent have been in discussions with the Swans since Monday evening, that’s on our forum under the title ‘Swansea City in talks’ Armed with this knowledge and his employers (Celtic ) having agreed the transfer, negotiated terms, allowing the player to travel to Swansea (passing a medical) and agreeing personal terms - Brendan goes blabbing to the press yesterday afternoon.

I’m in two minds to be honest about this. Is Rodgers trying to get his club to bring in players as replacements because they haven’t and is using the press - Or, as stated earlier he wants two unhappy players in his squad ? Either way, it goes to show how dull he has been over this, especially having knowledge of the transfer and conditions over five days, and then being more than flexible with the truth to the press. He stated yesterday afternoon when talking about Idah, "There's been negotiations and chat around it, but I have to have players in here before I can consider letting anyone go."

What a plonker. He knew exactly the situation, that’s a big fat one there Brendan. His player was gone, all agreed, then he starts playing chess.

Later on we will indeed report on the game later today at Sheffield Wednesday (3pm)
