Matos verbally agrees terms as the real amount paid is disclosed
Vitor Matos has agreed terms to join the Swans, there are a few matters yet to finalise but the CS Maritimo head coach is said to be absolutely delighted matters are coming to a conclusion.
The termination agreement will come in at around €300,000 (Ex) initially, if the Swans are to pay the full amount they will have to be the most successful Welsh side since those seven seasons in the Premier League. There’s other caveats that always come with any change of employment in football. These are to CS Maritimo and to Vitor Matos personally. There are a few more things to iron out, but nothing that will concern Chairman Tom Gorringe at this stage. Staff that Matos wants to come with him is being discussed and there’s no information on that.
The million euros that was widely reported by people who work all day in main stream journalism is about as factual claiming you painted the Mona Lisa. It’s a shame but as ever certain information is easily sourced, you just have to know where you are going and have the mindset to have a plan.
We’ve reported daily on Matos coming to Swansea, we hope you have enjoyed it, we will,of course be ready with more information as we get it.

Swansea City : The glaringly obvious and Matos agrees Vitor Matos saw a determined Swansea side for the first half an hour of last nights defeat against Derby County. The Rams made it their third win away from home for the first time in five years. Thereafter we saw a tepid display of poor control and a lack of endeavour which is creeping into the Swans play in recent games.
