Dale fans considered healthy eaters
Dale fans are noted for having their five a day according to the results of a recent NHS survey on football supporters' eating habits.
Earlier this year, the NHS used their vast resources to conduct a survey to find out which team's football supporters were considered the healthiest.
After giving their height and weight, supporters were asked a series of multiple choice questions relating to their food, drinking, smoking, lifestyle and mental health, and from that each supporter was given a value. All those results were accumulated to produce a percentage rating for each team.
Dale were ranked as 9th within League One, and were given a rating of 58.14%. To put this in context, both Oldham and Bury shared a healthy rating of 50%.
Out of the four divisions, QPR fans had the highest healthy rating with 73.02% on the Football Fan Health Scale, with Peterboro supporters coming top in League One with 67.47%.
The unhealthiest set of fans in all of the divisions are Hereford supporters, who had the lowest rating of 41.03%. Within League One, Plymouth Argyle fans are considered the least healthy with 43.65%.
