I suppose you can understand it from a purely revenue perspective but it's almost as if they will do whatever they can to alienate the fans.

Disgraceful.

Disgraceful really how they think they will still have a club if this was to go ahead, either way! Change name - fans will stop going......increase prices - fans will stop going!

The thing is if the name change was to happen it sets agent Tan up nicely to do the same up the road! Dragons all the way!!!!

Tubbs: Will heaven be like Swansea? Edward: Yes, Tubbs. Only... bigger.

I can't imagine many fans would stop going if they changed their name. It's a storm in a teacup anyhow - it's not a massive leap from Hull City AFC (aka 'the tigers') to Hull City Tigers. We seem to have coped with becoming Swansea City.

"Assem and Ehab Allam, Hull's owners are understood to have lined up at least two potential major sponsorship deals with global companies for next season but they are contingent on the word Tigers becoming part of Hull's name."

Why don't they just buy cardiff - the fans there will let them do anything
