That's just laughable. Why would he, or anyone else outside cardiff and their support base care if Cardiff City were relegated. Tomorrow's headline....Jose Mourinho doesn't care if Cardiff are relegated.

I know! Perhaps they expected him to give a hearty endorsement to boost Cardiff's survival chances, "come on bluebirds, it's vital you stay up for the (* sniggers) good of Welsh football ......."
(At this point Monk pretends to drop his pen under the desk and stays there, with only the sound of hysterical laughter audible)
But really, it sums up the club and it's ever shrinking valleys fan base . They're needy.
They need to be told they are the biggest club in Wales with 100,000 fans on their "database".
They need to be the centre of attention in their country's (by that I mean Wales, not the UK) press and media.
This neediness has virtually killed the club with callous owners taking advantage of the needy saps by promising to make them "bigger than Barcelona" , lending them millions and then demanding it back with interest. The kind of people who mercilessly rip the heart and soul out of the club by changing it's kit colour and badge.
I'm so glad as a set of fans we don't suffer from "second rate capital city syndrome" and the accompanying sense of unrealistic and false entitlement they've been suffering all these years. | |
