On the news earlier the figure is rumoured to be around the £2 million mark...basically the rest of his contract..this is what the club expected to pay all parties wish each other well and will not comment further on the matter.
And that was that.

If I had been his attorney, I'd have put some ethical pressure on him to settle, and then to keep his mouth shut. I'd also have insisted on a mutual non-disclosure clause.
He does not want to ruin his future career [any more than he already has] by (1) getting litigious, and (2) dragging all of his dirty laundry through the media.
