I knew where they used to hang out at their old ground but I've not done the new one. Funny, I was actually going to go to this very game but had unforeseen MOT bill and knocked it on the head. Had a look in Ajax ground during one of The Swans tours of Holland. Big, but not huge on the inside, with the cauldron shape looking conducive to a good atmosphere. Train stops in one top corner of ground for rival fans to enter stadium directly. Huge Perspex section enclosing away fans. Very colourful stadium in terms of seating and graffiti art in ultra section behind goal. Worth a visit when empty, but wouldn't mind sampling match atmosphere there... with The Swans, of course! | |
